The chain has a cute little ball and butterfly which you can have hanging outside the book but they do tend to get snagged on things so i can see it breaking after not too long.

It sits nicely in a book and keeps your place well.

We haven't haded it over to the friend yet but both me & the Mrs were very impressed with it when it did arrive.
