This 21 - key kalimba comes ready tuned, so you can get started straight away. It has a true sound, even in the higher keys, many kalimbas get tinny in their higher range. This is tuned in C, but has four notes below middle C, which are F G A and B. This comes in handy when playing tunes that go lower than a 17 - key kalimba can reach. There is a hammer for when you eventually need to re-tune the instrument, but it holds its tuning well, so I haven't had to tune mine yet. That's better even that certain well-known makes of more expensive kalimbas. Naming no names! Quite a remarkable instrument considering that it is so inexpensive.
