    This is a great mat that allows my chair to roll freely, but it doesn't work with underlay or "padding" as it's described. The mat moves after just stepping on it once, even when I wedge it under a heavy desk. I'm not sure how that happens but it ends up at about a 20 degree angle and then settles in that position. It's also made a bit of my brand new carpet stick up a bit to the right of it which I think it something to do with the mat twisting. It hasn't damaged my carpet because I can smoothen it out with my feet but if you're looking for a mat that works with underlay, this isn't it.

    It still gets five stars though because they do mention this in the description, even if it's a little cryptic with them calling it padding and not underlay. I love the fact it folds which makes it easier to store and it protects the carpet very well with no dents at all, just the slight lifting problem mentioned above.

    This arrived quickly and was easy to unpack and flatten. It's attractive to look at and protects the carpet well from my office chair which rolls easily on the mat. It does move over time with the weight of the chair being rolled on it, so I have to adjust it every few days but not a big deal. All in all pleased with it.

    An anderen Bürostuhlunterlagen hat mich bisher immer die schlechte Optik gestört, irgendwie sehen die Dinger immer wie billige Fussmatten aus. Diese Unterlage in Kordsamt in hellgrau ist nicht nur praktisch, sondern auch noch optisch ansprechend und weniger kalt als die Kollegen aus Kunststoff. Die Maße passen perfekt zu meiner Möblierung und meinem Schreibtisch im Homeoffice, und selbst, wenn man mal mit dem Stuhl oder dem Staubsauger über die Kante rollt, macht das nichts, weil die Matte sich nicht wellt oder wegrutscht. Waschbar soll sie auch noch sein, wenn sie danach immer noch so gut aussieht, bin ich begeistert. Für mich eine klare Kaufempfehlung!

    My office has a carpet that makes moving my chair impossible. I've used hard plastic mats with little gripper pegs for years. However they always end up cracking and don't look the best. Then I'm left with a hunk of plastic that I have to toss out. I decided to give this a try because it looks much nicer and ideally a bit more environmentally friendly.

    Unfortunately this thing won't stay put. It's constantly sliding out of position from where I want it. It probably doesn't help that it's barely wide enough for my chair, but it's the same width as my last mat and I never had this problem. I've constantly had to re-adjust the mat and lift my chair back on. The chair slides off the mat easily but not back on again.

    When my chair is actually on the mat it works ok. It slides a bit tough compared to my last plastic mat, but much better than on the carpet itself. Likely if the mat kept its place and the chair didn't keep being half off the mat, I'd be fine with the actual function of the mat.

    It also seems to be shedding rubber or something after only a few weeks of use.

    Looks like I'm going back to a hard plastic mat.

    This is the most durable, best-looking and maneuverable desk mat I have ever bought! I bought this for my son to use under his desk chair in order to avoid scratching to the hardwood floors beneath his desk. The chair slides so easy across this mat and it is light and can easily be picked up in order to vacuum under it. There really is no shaking needed when cleaning as you can just vacuum whatever you have dropped on it. I give it a five star!!!
