Bought the 12 panel as my Shih Tzu and Bishon Frise have had puppies. Initially they were in a travel cot with a bit cut out for mum. However some are quite clever (only 3 weeks old) and have learnt to plop out of it. Hence I bought this. I have only used 6 panels so far. The gate is great as the puppies will not be able to get out of it for a while. Even Mariska (Shih Tzu) mum has to jump out but she has got quite big udders as my daughters say but she did have 7 puppies. Extremely easy to put together and you can move it to whatever shape suits. It's literally putting a metal rod down into the little circle things and ta da, you've just put two panels together. The magic is as they get more active I can add onto it. Puppies are safe plus of course the poonami is kept in one place. I have bought washable mats to put on the bottom and have puppy mats then towels to make it a bit squishier then puppy mats again. Luckily their dad (Wilfred) steps into help with that, makes a change from the cat litter tray! Mum steps out to give her teats a rest and he sneaks in to clean them, thankfully! I would imagine you could use the pen for multiple reasons. For eg, rabbits or Guinea pigs as the panels are a good height. I'll be using so to stop the puppies falling down the stairs outside. They won't know what's hit then when they get old enough to go out there. The rabbits will not take any shenanigans. Even the cats won't mess with them. They even let the rabbits groom them, they eventually gave in. All in all I would highly recommend the pen, easy assembly, height is great, flexible, well worth the money.
