Fantastic bit of kit, use carefully
I’ve got a very hairy large dog, a standard poodle. She doesn’t really like being groomed so doing so is a long process. I’m no professional groomer but thought I’d give it a go inbetween professional grooms to save a bit of money. This kit is great, I already have the standard sized shears but needed something smaller for the smaller or more delicate areas. This works really well so far, I haven’t had to charge it yet so the battery lasts really well. I’ve yet to use the nail grinder so can’t comment on that. Just be careful when using the blades with no guards as it can graze the skin if you’re not careful. Overall a good buy and I would recommend

    So far so good. The clippers arrived fully charged and I gave my schnauzer puppy his first ever haircut. The clippers cut well and while I have used clippers that were quieter, these aren’t too noisy and my pup wasn’t afraid of them. Good value for money and they do a good job.

    Saw the positive reviews and at the price point, thought I would give this a go.

    For starters, these are very loud clippers - especially for battery powered ones.

    The noise of them alone was enough to make my dog anxious. I have a remington beard trimmer and would say this product is easily twice as loud as the beard trimmer.

    Moving on, the cutting blade on these clippers is made of sharpened plastic. Anybody who has used plastic clippers will appreciate that when it comes to cutting thick hair or fur, a plastic cutting blade is simply not up to the job. Imagine trying to eat a steak with plastic cutlery - I mean, you could, but would you want to?

    The result here is that the fur simply tangled up in the clippers causing my dog to yelp and completely putting her off home haircuts in the process.

    Its also worth pointing out that the kit only includes 2 guide combs which doesn't seem sufficient for dogs. My beard trimmer by comparison contained 3 guide combs.

    What might save this is the nail grinder, which looks like it might be useful, but I haven't tried it yet. As a grooming kit, it's rubbish.

    Very neat & lightweight, quiet too, not scary for my little floofy doggo. I used the medium sized blade for the first time on a matt just behind her ear that was close to the skin. So I made sure my finger acted to take the blade under the mat fur & between her skin & gently clipped downwards in tiny strokes, it loosened & came out quickly!
    Doggy didn’t fuss or run away, she laid there patiently whilst I praised her.
    I’m feeling confident in keeping her fine fur tidy and matt-free, thank you!

    J'ai acheté cette lampe en dépannage pour pallier aux coupures de courant.
    Pour ce petit prix, elle fait le job :
    -Aspect conforme
    -prise en main aisée
    -le système dynamo fonctionne bien, il faut beaucoup d huile de coude pour espérer se baser uniquement sur cette énergie donc le solaire prend très bien le relais pour charger la lampe.
    -la manivelle dynamo est en plastique, nous verrons sur le long terme mais semble tenir la route!
    -le clip de fixation est très bien et assez large pour pouvoir s accrocher un peu partout sans difficulté !
    -(pas testé l'étanchéité)

    Point sur l éclairage :

    >>La vidéo a été prise dans une ruelle peu éclairée pour montrer sa capacité en extérieur.
    Très bien pour savoir où on met les pieds mais il ne faudra pas espérer avoir un éclairage significatif à plus de 3 mètres avec cette lampe.

    >> en intérieur, testée dans une pièce sans aucun éclairage : parfait!
    Permet de s'éclairer correctement sans avoir à allumer de lumière chez soi en pleine nuit.

    En conclusion., si vous cherchez une lampe de dépannage qui vous offre le confort de ne pas avoir à acheter des piles ou penser à recharger, cette lampe est idéale et très pratique, surtout pour le prix très correct.
