We bought two of these packs, one pack had a smashed plate and a poorly coloured plate. The other pack was Ok, but you can see they aren't made very well, as some of the plates have swirls in the porcelain. They also don't do well if metal cutlery is used in them, as they can mark easily. So Ok for a cheap and cheerful set if you don't look too hard at their moulding and be careful not to apply too much pressure to them with metal cutlery. We are awaiting two large plates to replace the damaged ones.

This set is beautiful. It has a minimal but elegant look. The first box came with 2 broken plates but Amazon took care of that immediately. The 2nd box arrived perfectly. I received compliments from my guests. So, I say go ahead and order it!
