      I’m really pleased with this freezer. It arrived safely and was in perfect condition. The delivery driver helped me lift it inside my hallway …superstar. I was then able to slide it into the kitchen. I checked it over and everything was as expected. We removed the packaging and the instructions stated to leave it standing a couple of hours before plugging in. You plug it in and set the temperature…there’s a little plastic key to assist with this. I set it to between 3 and 4 to get it cold quickly. It states in warm weather this can take up to 4 hours …2 hours if it’s cold weather. We left it 4 hours and moved the frozen food into it. ( stored in our old freezer). Everything worked perfectly. I have since turned the thermostat down to just below 3 as the ice cream was so hard I couldn’t dish it up. I’ve found the new setting to be perfect. You do have to leave gaps around this freezer for it to work properly ( the same with all freezers). This was the one strange thing in the instructions. It states you need a 30 cm gap above the freezer…very odd since it’s sold as an under counter freezer. I reckon that the same instructions are issued for small freezers and larger fridge freezers…hence the confusion. Anyway it’s working perfectly. It’s energy rating is E which is pretty standard for this type. It’s very white in colour and looks really smart. When empty it’s not too heavy so easy to move into place and at 55 cm wide it’s a perfect fit. When running it’s surprising quiet to the point where we don’t really notice it. In conclusion I definitely recommend this freezer. It isn’t a make I’m familiar with but I’m really happy I bought it.

      I was quite surprised to see so many positive reviews for this freezer.

      I received and installed the freezer myself yesterday. The first issue I noticed was that the freezer door remains tightly sealed, requiring significant force to open.

      Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the door is not aligned horizontally with the freezer body, suggesting a workmanship issue.

      Further investigation revealed that the top cover is positioned very close to the freezer door, making the overall design appear subpar.

      To determine why the door was so difficult to open, I decided to unscrew the door hinge and move it to the other side, allowing the door to open with the hinge on the left.

      After some effort, I successfully repositioned the hinge. However, I still had to apply considerable force to open the door, and the top cover remained too close to the upper part of the door. This caused the door to scrape against the top cover when opened.

      After some struggle, I decided to remove the top cover and reinstall it without the two clips at the top, creating more space between the cover and the door.

      With this adjustment, the alignment seems better. The issue of needing excessive force to open the door can be partially resolved by pulling at the suction cushion on the side of the door rather than using the top notch.

      Overall, I find the experience disappointing.

      There is an option to return the freezer, as the problems I encountered could indicate a defective unit. However, since the freezer functions properly despite these issues, I may choose to keep it, as returning it would require too much effort.
